Objective:To research the magnesium level changes in serum and cerebrospinal fluid of patients with acute brain injury. Methods:We collect the Id,3d,5d,7d serum and cerebrospinal fluid in 35 patients. The level of serum magnesium was determined by complex indicator method. Then we compare with the normal control values.Results:1.The level of cerebrospinal fluid magnesium was decreased in 1d,3d,5d,7d than normal data, and the level of the 1d (p< 0.05)was more significant than the 3d,5d,7d (p>0.05) in moderate brain injury patient; The level of the sever was lower than moderate brain injury patient (p< 0.05),but the level of the sever in the 7d was not have the statistic signifies (p >0.05).2. The 1d,3d,5d,7d level of serum magnesium was decline in all kinds of brain injury. Contrast to the moderate patient level of serum magnesium (p>0.05), the severs were more special (p< 0.05).Conclusion:The magnesium level changes in serum and cerebrospinal fluid of patients with acute brain injury were significant and it can be a special index in the clinical diagnose and treatment.
