Objective:To evaluate the significance of parameters and relative parameters of contrast enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) in the differential diagnosis of Benign and Malignant Breast lesionsMethods:A total of 34 patients with breast lesions (14 benign,20 malignant) were examined by CEUS after injection of the contrast agent SonoVue. The intensity and the perfusion characteristics of breast lesions were analyzed. The ROI (region of interest) of lesions and surrounding tissues were drawn by software of QontraXt, then the parameters and calculation of the relative parameters of CEUS were obtained. Pathology was used as the golden diagnostic criteria. Results:The hyper and inhomogeneous enhancement of the malignant group was higher than that of the benign (P<0.05). Compared with benign group, the size of the leisions were more likely to be increased in malignant ones after injection of SonoVue(P<0.05).The lesions'relative TP (time to peak), PI (peak intensity) and AUC (area under the curve) were different between benign and malignant lesions (P<0.05), but no significant difference was detected in relative sharpness between benign and malignant lesions. Conclusion:The intensity and the perfusion characteristics were different between the benign and malignant (P<0.05). More attention should be paid to enhancement of surrounding tissues in the study of CEUS. The relative parameters of CEUS maybe useful to diagnosis of breast leisions.
