Objective: To investigate the expression of Shp2 in the sample of breast cancer and its relationship with the expression level of E2, PRL, HER2, and the metastasis of lymph node. So to support some evidence that Shp2, to be a new tumor marker, is helpful for the diagnosis of breast cancer, risk assessment of metastasis, and target screening of anti-tumor drug. Methods: In this study, Western blotting was used to detect the expression of Shp2 in the sample of breast cancer. RIA immunization was used to detect the expression of E2 in serum. One step Enzyme immunization was used to detect the expression of PRl in serum. Elivision plus staining was used to measure the expression of HER2 in the sample of breast cancer. The relationship of E2, PRL, HER2, and the metastasis of lymph node with the expression of Shp2 in breast cancer were analyzed. The statistics software of SPSS16 was used in this study. Results: The expression level of Shp2 protein in the sample of breast cancer is high. The expression of Shp2 in patients with metastasis of lymph node is higher than in patients without metastasis of lymph node. The expression of Shp2 and E2 shows positive correlation, but the expression of Shp2 and HER2 shows negative correlation. There is no correlation between the expression of Shp2 and PRL.Conclusion: To be a new tumor marker, Shp2 has very important significance in the diagnosis of breast cancer and risk assessment of metastasis.
