The Clinical Study On Efficiency Of Electro Acupunction On Siguan-points For The Limbs Pain After The Qi Deficiency And Blood Stasis Syndrome Of The Stroke

Objection:To investigate the clinical effect and security of electro acupuncture on Siguan points which used to treat the limbs pain occurred after the qi deficiency and blood stagnation syndrome of the stroke.Method:67cases of patients within the limbs pain occurred after the stroke were enrolled from the clinic and inpatient departments of acupuncture Medical section ofChengDu University of TCM. According to a randomized, single-blinded,medicine-controlled design principles,67cases were divided into 34 cases of the treatment group and 33 cases of control group.Patients in Treatment group were treated with electro acupuncture Siguan points,meanwhile the patients in control group were treated with the normal acupuncture.The period of treatment was 4 weeks.Observation of the changes of the symptoms points included VAS,PPI,McGill (A) and Use Fugl-Meyer Index to assess the motor function, use Barthel index to assess it which been after the stroke before and after the treatment.Result:Among 67 cases,64patients finished the study whereas 3 lost. With the 32 cases in the treatment group,2 cases were clinical cure.The cure rate is 6.25%, 14cases were markedly better.Which is 43.75%.13 cases were effective. The effective rate is 40.63%; 3 cases were invalid and accounting forl.25%.The markedly effective rate is 50.00%.The total effective rate is90.63%.In the contrast group which used the acupuncture only, 1cases were clinical cure.The cure rate is 1.25%,7 cases were markedly better.Which is 28.13%.16cases were effective. The effective rate is43.75%; 8 cases were invalid and accounting for25%.The markedly effective rate is 25%.The total effective rate is75.00%. Comparing the two groups, there are more significant differences between the markedly effective rate and the effective constitute(P<0.05). And the treatment can improve the situation of the VAS,PPI,PRI,FMA and Barthel.Conclusion:the electro acupuncture on Siguan points treatment can significantly reduce the pain level,at the same time it can decrease the depressed emotion,and improve the level of the function assessment.
