Objective To investigate the protective effect of fish oil on intestinal mucosa barrier in severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) rats.Method 48 SD rats were divided into 2 groups at random (A,F),24 in each group, established model of intestinal injury after feeding rats 2 hours. Then A was given saline water, F was given fish oil. Animals in each group after modeling 6h,12h,24h were killed in three batches, take tissue and serum, light microscope to observe the extent of the tissue injury changes. To measured concentration of endotoxin (ET) in portal vein blood supernatant after 6,12 and 24 hours. Trial period were observed in rats and mortality in the general situation.Resultsâ…°Two groups of rats were successfully model the experimental period, survival, mortality 0%.â…±Serum ET concentration in group F was much lower than group A. Animals in each group after modeling 6h,A and F inter-group differences can not believe that there are statistically significant(P>0.05).At 12h,24h, A group and F group were statistically significant differences (p<0.05).â…²The degree of injury of intestinal mucosa was much lower in group F than group A.Conclusion The fish oil can prevent the intestinal mucosa barrier in SAP,reduced the level of ET, SAP rats with acute pancreatitis of injury has a protective effect.
