In recent years,researchers payed more attentions on the quality control of chiral drugs,which is one of the most hot fields. HPLC is one of the most popular analytical techniques with the characteristics of fast and convenience.The following 3 parts have been investigated in the study:1. Enantioseparation of fourβ-blockers on Chiralpak IB column under the conditions of normal phaseHPLC methods have been developed for the chiral separation of betaxolol hydrochloride,metoprolol tartrate,bisoprolol fumarate,bevantolol hydrochloride on a Chiralpak IB column under the conditions of normal phase. The influence factors including copositons of mobile phase,additive,column temperature and flowrate were investigated and the optimal conditons of chiral separation were established.Four drugs mentioned above were chiralseparated completely and ethanol was better than isopropanol as a component of mobile phase.2. Enantioseparation of losigamone on Chiralpak IB column under the conditions of normal phaseHPLC methods have been developed for the chiral separation of a new antiepileptic drug losigamone on a Chiralpak IB column under the conditions of normal phase. The influence factors including copositons of mobile phase,additive,column temperature and flowrate were investigated and the optimal conditons of chiral separation were established.Losigamone was chiralseparated completely and both ethanol and isopropanol can be used as a component of mobile phase.3. Determination of enantiomers of betaxolol hydrochloride in rabbit plasma on Chiralpak IB column by HPLCConcentration of enantiomers of betaxolol hydrochloride in rabbit plasma was measured under the conditions of normal phase by HPLC with fluorescence detector. The specificity, precision, accuracy, linearity and recovery were evaluated.
