The Clinical Effect And Action Mechanism Of Guanyin Mixture On Infantile Anorexia (Lung And Spleen Deficiency Syndrome).

Objective:1. To observe the clinical effect of Guanyin mixture on Infantile Anorexia (lung and spleen deficiency syndrome).2. To discuss the effect of Guanyin mixture on Anorectic Children of serum leptin and plasma cholecystokinin, then reveal its action mechanism on treating Infantile Anorexia.Methods:1.Select 42 children who suffered from lung and spleen deficiency of Infantile Anorexia, divided them into two groups (the test/treatment group and the control group) randomly, the test group takes Guanyin mixture and the control group takes Shenlingbaishu mixture, observe each group's symptom changes before and after treatment.2. Meanwhile, collect limosis vein blood before medicine taking and after one month medicine taking when morning wake-up, measure the contents of Plasma CCK and Serum LEP.Results:Comparing the pre-treatment and after-treatment of test group and control group, both of them have statistical significance (P<0.05), which means both group of medicine treatment have curative effect on lung and spleen deficiency of Infantile Anorexia, each of them improved TCM symptom in different level. In Guanyin mixture group, recover ones (3&),positive ones (14&), effective ones (4&), and invalid ones (1&), total positive rate 63.64%; In Shenlingbaizhu mixture group, recover ones (0&),positive ones(8&), effective ones(11&), and invalid ones (1&), total positive rate 40.0%. There is statistical significance in comparing the curative effect between two groups after treatment (P＜0.05), hints that the effect of Guanyin mixture treatment on lung and spleen deficiency of Infantile Anorexia is superior to Shenlingbaizhu mixture. Comparing the plasma levels of CCK of test group and control group, both of them have positive statistical significance (P＜0.01). There is statistical significance in comparing the the plasma levels of CCK between two groups after treatment(P＜0.05). Comparing the serum Leptin of test group and control group, both of them have positive statistical significance (P＜0.01). There is similar effect in rising the serum levels of Leptin between two groups after treatment(P＞0.05).Conclusion:1.Guanyin mixture can improve the situation of Children's Anorexia(lung and spleen deficiency syndrome) effectively, and and increase children's appetite and food intake.2. Guanyin mixture and Shenlingbaizhu mixture on the role of plasma CCK levels are lower, but better Guanyin mixture group; two groups before and after serum Leptin levels are significantly changed, but the two groups on the increase of serum Leptin levels had no significant effect difference. We speculate that Guanyin mixture anorexia in children by changing the plasma levels of CCK and serum Leptin impact on appetite.
