| Object: Observe the clinical curative effect of slightly-rotation Manipulation added on traction about the treatment of the cervical spondylotic radiculopathy and discuss its mechanism of action to provide the clinical evidence to popularise this treatment method widely. Methods: 57 cases that meet the inclusion criteria were filtered from Orthopedics VIP clinic in the first affiliated hospital of Heilongjiang university of traditional chinese medicine. They were randomized into 2 groups(the treatment group and the control group)for clinical comparison research. 32 cases in the treatment group were with slightly-rotation Manipulation added on traction. The other 25 cases in the control group were with Sitting traction. Both of the 2 groups had been used the cervical vertebra and arm pain score (VAS), the integral of the cervical vertebra mobility and the Tanaka Yasuhisalong 20 points method from Japan as clinical observation index, the measurement of cervical lordosis as radiation observation index. Using SPSS18.0 to process data and finally draw a conclusion. Results: The data showed: There was significant statistical difference between the two groups on the cervical vertebra and arm pain score (VAS) before as well as after treatment (P<0.01) and after treatment (P<0.05). 2. There was significant statistical difference between the two groups on the integral of the cervical vertebra mobility before as well as after treatment(P<0.01) and after treatment (P<0.05). 3. There was significant statistical difference between the two groups on the Tanaka Yasuhisalong 20 points method from Japan before as well as after treatment(P<0.01) and after treatment(P<0.05). 4. There was signify-cant statistical difference between the two groups on total effect before as well as after treatment (P<0.05). 5. There was no significant difference between the two groups on improving the measurement of cervical lordosis before as well as after treatment (P>0.05) and after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion: The treatment of slightly-rotation Manipulation added on traction has better efficacy than the sitting traction in improving clinical symptoms and signs of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy. In the courses of treatment guided by slightly-rotation Manipul- ation added on traction the treatment of Cervical Spondylosis of Nerve-root-type cannot restore the physiological structure of cervical vertebra. |
