Clinical Observation On Danlou Tablets For The Treatment Of Anxiety And Depression With Cardiovascular Symptom

Objective:Anxiety depression and cardiovascular risk factors have an ever-closer relationship.Anxiety and depression,as an independent cardiovascular risk factors, by activating the sympathetic nervous system, can cause cardiovascular disease or induced by cardiovascular events. To investigate the effectiveness, specificity and safety of Danlou Tablets in psycho-cardiology,this study,by comparing Neurostan, Observes Danlou Tablets for the treatment of Anxiety and Depression with cardiovascular symptom, based on the assumption that Danlou Tablets demonstrates a great effect of anti-atherosclerosis and that St. John Wort extract (Neurostan) have a significant effect of depression and anxiety.Methods:105 Cardiovascular patients with the anxiety and depression disorder were divided into 3 groups randomly, the 3 groups were separately treated with Danlou Tablets,Neurostan and the combination of two drugs on the basis of the psychological intervention(Given regular drug therapy of anti-atherosclerosis when necessary). After 3 months of the treatment,We Assessed with the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HAD) before and after their treatment,to make the respective comparison of the efficacy among the three groups.Results:There was significant difference in the HAD scale scores separately compared after treatment with before (P<0.01); The effective rate of Danlou Tablets group was 78.8%, Neurostan group was 86.3%, and the combination of two drugs was 89.2%, But there was no significant difference among the three groups (P>0.05)Conclusion:1.Danlou Tablets and Neurostan can improve symptoms of anxiety and depression effectively.2. Danlou Tablets is as effective as Neurostan to treat anxiety and depression.3.Combination of the two drugs is not superior to alone.4.Danlou Tablets demonstrate its effectiveness, safety, uniqueness and superiority in psycho-cardiology.
