Weiliuxiao Granules is a chinese herbal preparation composed of Astragalus mongholicus, Psoralea corylifolia, Savlai miltiorrhiza and Radix notoginseng. It comes from clinical experience recipe which has anti-tumor transfer and cancer recurrence effects. The study adopts the best extracting method to make the modern compound granules with the guidance of the theories of traditional Chinese medicine. It transformed the traditional decoction into granules, which overcome the traditional shortcomings. that is, difficult to decoct, difficult to carry, large to dose, and bad taste. It has the advantages of the preparations for the further development and provide certain theoretical basis. This article researches the medicine extraction technology, preparation technology, and the quality control. Astragalus is the most effective component to cure the disease. In order to extract the maximum and increase the therapeutic efficacy of drugs, this article will do further research on the extraction technology about astragalus and other ingredients separately to get the tough astragalus.For the extraction process particles, we use the orthogonal experimental method. the amount of water, the extracting time and the number of times are the three factors, orthogonal test was employed for selecting the optimum of extraction process. The result is the best extraction process was that adding 14 times of water, ultrasonic extraction three times, each time 0.5 h.For the quality control particles, the research established the mothod of Radix et rhizoma notoginseng and Radix et rhizoma salviae miltiorrhizae are identified by TLC,and astragaloside,psorlen and isopsoralen are determined by HPLC. Experiments show that the method is simple, reliable, sensitive, safe and effective, which can achieve the basic purpose of preparation of quality control.For the main active extraction of Astragalus membranaceus, compare to the effect of the ultrasonic extraction, microwave extraction and reflux extraction. For the extraction technology, the transfer rates of astragalus polysaccharide and astragalosideâ…£were taken as indexes for investigation, water addition, extracting time and frequency were selected as 3 factors for investigation and and table L9(34) was used to conduct the orthogonal experiment. This research indicates that he best extraction technology is to extract for twice with 10 fold water solution, and 2h for each time. The technology is reasonable and practicable.
