Objective:The Scaffolds Materials of Bone Tissue Engineering must have certain mechanical properties. Before the new bones formation has its mechanical strength , the materials must maintain the mechanical strength, not only for the new bone, but also to match the mechanical property of the existing bone.We tested mechanical property of IAESM through many ways , proved that it has a good mechanical strength used to restoring the defect bone.Methods: To measure the elastic modulus, the hardness and other mechanical properties of IAESM by DSI technology, and compare the results with the results of law, compressed, bending tests.Results: The data shows that the elastic modulus is 5.8– 9GPa and hardness is 400– 920MPa of IAESM, which proved have no differences with other three ways .Conclusions: DSI technology can accurately test mechanical properties of IAESM .IAESM has good mechanical properties,for which to using on bone tissue engineering.
