In this experiment, the material were migratory marine fishes, which were collected from Pingtan intertidal zone of Fujian province, and discus fish that bought from Fuzhou pet fish market. 155 fungi and 6 actinomycetes were isolated from above materials. Those strains and 17 strains of plant pathogenic fungi saved at laboratory were treated for antitumor activity screening.Later, the anti-tumor activity was determined with the human hepatoma cell line BEL-7402 and BEL-7404 by MTT methods. The result showed that strains of fungi Z1010F1 and a1-3, actinomycetes strains F0403 showed excellent antitumor activity. And then provided full materials for the laboratory to further research concerning active compounds. In order to determine the relationship of active strains and establish active strains library, active strains a1-3 was identified by morphology characterization. The homology relationships between identified fungi and other fungi from GenBank were deduced from sequences of ITS rDNA. The result showed that a1-3 was identified as Cryptococcus laurentii.
