| Objective:To compare the clinical results of open and closed reduction plus cannulated screw system for femoral neck fracture Patients who's age is less than 65 and To investigate the factors influencing the avascular necrosis of femoral head after internal fixation of femoral neck fracture. Methods:A study was carried out in103 cases of femoral neck fractures treated from January 2006 to December 2008, who's age is less than 65, fracture, who were treated with internal fixation, they were followed up in out patient Department and by telephone. The data was set up and analyzed by SPSS 16.0 software. Results:Nonunion fractues occurred in 17 cases with union rate of 16.5%,5 cases resulted in nonunion with union rate of21.74% in open reduction plus cannu-lated screw,12 cases suffered from femoral head necrosis with necrosis rate of 15% in closed reduction plus cannulated screw. The quality of reduction, and with hypertension, diabetes mellitus and so on disease s or not were found to be significant factors in single factor logistic regression analysis, and in multivariate logistic regression analysis, the outcome was almost in same. Conclusion:The femoral head necrosis and the nonunion of femoral neck fractures relate to The quality of reduction, and patient with hypertension, diabetes mellitus and so on diseases or not may also contribute the nonunion of femoral neck fractures. The better reduction plus cannulated screw fixation can obtain better clinical results. Dissection reduction can help to reduce avascular necrosis. |
