Attentional Deficits/Hyperactivity Disorder was be found accompanied with extensively executive dysfunctions, such as inhibition, shifting, working memory, plan, and so on. However, it is still debating that which EF components are especially related to ADHD. The hot and cool EF concepts are incorporated in order to make cognitive profiles of children with ADHD. The stop-signal task, stroop task, forward/backward digit, and creature counting are used to assess the cool EF of participants while the child-gambling game and delay-frustrating task are used to detect deficits in the hot EF.With all of these tasks, we got several results:(1)compared to normal children, children with ADHD have deficits in inhibition and interference control.(2) ADHD children have a delay in short memory development. And a slight lower span in working memory than normal kids.(3)There is no difference of shifting ability between children with ADHD and normal ones.(4)No significant difference of the hot EF could be discovered through child-gambling and delay-frustration(DeF).But the trend of the response pattern of ADHD children differ from normal group during the DeF task, the former is more frequent than the latter with a shorter press time. Lacking of deficits in hot EF, the finding of this research does not support the dual-way model, which raised both cognitive disinhibited deficit typeand delay aversion type of ADHD.
