Curative Effect Observation Of Acne Is Treated By Self-Made SheHuang Decoction

Acne is a common and prevalent skin disease. It is an inflammatory chronical skin condition involving with hair follicles and sebaceous glands. These oil-producing glands associated with the tiny hairs which cover the face and body are the site of the primary changes seen in acne. The condition is characterised by outbreaks of lesions better known as acnes, papules, pustules, nodes, cysts and scars etc. People ages from 15 to 30 years old are commonest to attract acne.objectiveVerify the clinical efficacy of she-huang decoction in treatment of acne, explore a method of treatment of acne which have a better effect, more likely to promote.MethodA prospective study,60 patients collected from the dermatology clinic of the First Affiliated Hospital Of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group, treatment group (she-huang decoction group) were 30 patients, also there are 30 patients in the control group (minocycline group).The patients of the treatment group oral self she-huang decoction about 150ml each time, once a day, a month consecutive. The patients of the control group oral minocycline hydrochloride capsules 50mg twice a day, a month consecutive.The treatment times of two groups are also a month, to observe the changes in skin lesions of treatment patients when they have been treated two weeks or four weeks, and a month after the end of treatment compared the relapse rate between two groups, treatment. The statistics of t test and x2 test of the collected results were calculated using the software SPSS version 12.0 for windows.Results1. After 2 weeks course of treatment, the ratio of efficient between the treatment group and control group was33.3% percent,23.3% percent, the efficient rate of the two groups had no significant statistical difference(P>0.05). After 4 weeks course of treatment, the ratio of efficient between the treatment group and control group was 63.3% percent, 43.3% percent, the efficient rate of the two groups had significant statistical difference(P<0.05).2. a month after the end of treatment, the treatment group and control group the ratio of the number of relapse was 28.6 percent,66.7 percent, the recurrence rate of the two groups had no significant statistical difference.ConclusionThrough clinical observation of the subject, we know that the self-made she-huang decoction have no significant differences compare to the minocycline group in there Short-term effects (2 weeks), but after the treatment, the total effective rate in treatment group is better than the control group, and we can see that the recurrence rate of Treatment Group was significant lower than the control Group.
