Objective:There has been no consistent standard for evaluating success in hip-preserving treatment, so it is difficult to make proper evaluation of curative effects of hip-preserving treatment. The majority of studies report the success of hip-preserving treatment of ONFH primarily from two concerns, whether hip joint is preserved and whether hip joint replacement can be delayed, or directly to use the total hip replacement evaluation criteria, even the self-made criteria are used. Just because that, the curative effects of hip-preserving treatment for ONFH lack comparability, what's more, the existing scoring criteria all put weights on the domains of pain, function and range of motion. Although each scale has different weights in different parts, the consistency is to focus on the local change of hip joint or lower limb and not to sufficiently reflect the quality of life of patients. And with SF-36 as a representative of survival quality scale evaluation standard lacked certain specificity, fail to more comprehensive and more specific used to evaluate the therapeutic effect of the hip-preserving treatment. This research focuses on developing a specific scale use to evaluate the curative effect of hip-preserving treatment. Methods:Through the literature review and panel discussions, in reference to related theory guidance for general scale to design theory model. Through the patient interview formation entries pool, optimization entries and gets preliminary screening then form questionnaire. Gets to be investigated by questionnaire, with the help of experts importance ratings, factor analysis, discrete trend method, regression, discriminant analysis and Cronbach's alpha coefficients to screen the entries, and finally form the eventually selected scale. Result:The eventually scale including four areas:physiological, psychological, social and health consciousness. Divided into nine aspects: pain, limp, joint function, the positive and negative factors, social role, social relations and healthy self-evaluation and understanding of disease, plus an independent entries, get 32 entries totally. Conclusion:The eventually selected scale of the hip-preserving treatment of ONFH (Osteonecrosis of the Femeral Head) once completed its scientific assessment, will be a specific scale to evaluate the curative effect of the hip-preserving treatment of ONFH, and will provide a more comprehensive outcomes assessment to the patients who accept the hip-preserving treatment of ONFH.
