Background Since 1970, many reports pointed out that the world allergy illness gets sick is in vogue rate continues to increase, but Taiwan area allergy illness gets sick is in vogue rate is also getting higher and higher. Once had made four large-scale investigations in Taipei, on the questionnaire way, take 7-15 year-old schoolchild as the sample, finally discovered that Taipei schoolchild asthma being in vogue rate in 1974 was 1.30%,1985 years is 5.08%,1991 years is 5.80%, to 1994 has reached as is being in vogue rate in 1985 was 7.84%,1991 years is 20.67%, to 1994 also reached as high as 33.53%, during 10 years also many quadruple. Middle Taiwan and south local schoolchild's allergic illness sickness being in vogue rate, although compare to north is low, but increases year by year the tendency is consistent, since the allergy is increases year by year, the association drug allergy responded that particularly the nsaid allergy is also increases year by year, particularly in asthma and allergic rhinitis patients.The association drugs allergy response especially nsaid allergy is also increases year by year, particularly in asthma and allergic rhinitis patients. So we have to know about the allergens of allergic rhinitis and asthma patients and know about the nsaid allergy prevalence in such two groups of patient.Objectives To This research is mainly investigates nsaid drug allergy response ratio and allergens in allergy patients including asthma and allergic rhinitis patients. And doctor can pay more attention to avoid having the nsaid drug allergy when doctor prescribe for allergy patient,and know about the allergens of allergic rhinitis and asthma patients Methods During 2003-2007, we have collected total 374 persons of allergy patients including 235 persons of asthma patient and 139 persons of allergic rhinitis at Lin Zhaoshang pediatrics clinic in Taiwan Taizhong County Da Ya area. We collect these materials of patient clinical manifestation, sex distribution, main allergens, allergy to nsaid.Then use the the chi-square test and Fisher's exact test to analyze causes and carry on the statistical analysis.So we can summarize clinical characteristic and sickness rule of two kinds allergic diseases.Results In 235 asthma patients, the male 125, the female 110, and in 139 allergic rhinitis patients, the male 63, the female 76,The sex distribution of two groups of allergic diseases do not have the difference (χ2=2.16, P>0.05).21 patients in 235 asthma patients that are allergic to nsaid produce the drug rash or eyelid swollen or lip edema, approximately 8.9% of all asthma patient.7 patients in 139 allergic rhinitis patients are allergic to nsaid that produce the drug rash or eyelid swollen or lip edema, approximately 5% of all the allergic rhinitis patient. asthma group and the allergic rhinitis group do not have the difference to nsaid allergy. (χ2=1.92,P>0.05).21 patients in 235 asthma patients that are allergic to nsaid,14 are female,7 are male.7 patients in 139 allergic rhinitis patients are allergic to nsaid,6 are female,1 is male. The nsaid allergy patient distribution in the male and female does not have the difference (P>0.05).230 patients receivet the Multiple Allergen Simultaneous Test (MAST), its result Derm.Farinae189(82.1%),Derm.Pteronyssinus177(77%), blomia tropicals stoirge 57(24.8%),Alternaria alternate57(24.8%),shrimp47(20.4%). The most common allergens are Derm.Farinae,Derm.Pteronyssinus, Alternaria alternate in asthma group. The most common allergens are Derm.Farinae,Derm.Pteronyssinus,blomia tropicals stoirge and house dust in allergic rhinitis group.The detection rate of Alternaria alternate,penicilline notatum,dog danger,candida albican,salmon and Aspergillus fumigatus is higher in asthma group than the allergic rhinitis group. Kiwi detection rate is lower in asthma group than the allergic rhinitis group, the difference has statistics significance (P<0.05).In 230 patients that have positive reports in MAST. We find that the rate of nsaid allergy is 20 (9.1%). In the other 144 patients that don't have MAST positive report patient. We find that the rate of nsaid allergy is 8 (5.5%). There is no difference of nsaid allergy rate between the MAST positive group and the MAST negative group. (χ2=1.26, P>0.05).Conclusion 1. asthma and the allergic rhinitis are the common allergic disease, MAST can detect many kinds of allergens.2.The most common allergens are Derm.Farinae,Derm.Pteronyssinus,,Alternaria alternate in asthma group. The most common allergens are Derm.Farinae, Derm.Pteronyssinus,blomia tropicals stoirge and house dust in allergic rhinitis group.The detection rate of Alternaria alternate,penicilline notatum,dog danger,candida albican,salmon and Aspergillus fumigatus is higher in asthma group than the allergic rhinitis group.Kiwi detection rate is lower in asthma group than the allergic rhinitis group.3. Asthma and allergic rhinitis's patient has the allergic tendency, easily occur allergic reaction to nsaid.
