object To introduce a new surgical technique of pull-through anus for Hirschsprung's disease.Methods Analysis data of 52 cases of children, who suffered Hirschsprung's disease or dysplasia intestinal ganglion cells, such as operation time, bleeding, hospital stay, stool condition during hospital after they underwent this new surgery.Results: There were no deaths, and no intraoperative or early postoperative complications. Average operation time is 70.50 minutes, average blood loss is 14.5ml in the under 1 year old group. Average operation time is 77.26 minutes, average blood loss is 20ml in the 1 to 3 years old group. Average operation time is 122.8 minutes, average blood loss is 40ml in the over 3 years old group. Infection or anastomotic leak developed in none of the patients. No one used analgesic. 39 of the 52 cases has been followed-up for 2 months to 30 months. No patient has soiled his diapers between bowel movements. No intestinal obstruction has been observed. Anal stricture has developed in no one. 35 boys remains telotism. 38 cases who under 3 years recovered stool during 2 months. Only one case who is beyond 7 years old recovered stool after 6 months. 3 casea suffered enterocolitis. 20 cases underwent Anorectal manometry, only four exist RAIR。Conclusion This new surgery have less trauma, bleeding, reduce Operation time,preserve the Rectal receptors, needed less expense,recovered quickly,the short and medium-period effect is satisfied.The proposed technique is used in newborns, older infants and children, especially in infants.Objective The aim of this study was to examine the feasibility, safety, cost- effectiveness, and medium-term outcome of complete one-stage repair of intermediate and high imperforate anus in the newborn.Methods This is a retrospective review of forty eight consecutive newborns who underwent one-stage anorectoplasty in the newborn period at the children's hospital of Chongqing medical University between January 2006 and March 2010. 31 cases of 48 were 2 months to 4 years 4 months followed-up, clinical and followed-up data on the retrospective analysis.Result Forty-five had excellent results. One case died of respiratory and circulatory failure, the other two suffered from part incision dehiscence. Twelve of Thirty-one of the 48 cases has been followed-up for 2 months to 4 years and 6 months.No fecal incontinence,fistula recurrence,urinary retention has been observed. 3 cases has had constipation, 4 patients has soiled his diapers between bowel movements, 2 cases has had rectal mucosa prolapse, 1 patient has had wound infection, 1 patient has had stricture of anus without dilating of the anus. 17 cases underwent Anorectal manometry, only 4 exist RAIR.Conclusions Complete 1-stage repair using the Pe(n|~)a to treat high-type and intermediate-type anorectal malformations can be offered the same results as the traditional Pe(n|~)a. Also, it is safe and feasible.
