Objective:To explore the optimum conditions, techniques and perfusion parameters of hepatic perfusion imaging in experimental animals (dogs Chinese garden) on 64-slice spiral CT examinations with the whole liver perfusion scans.Materials and methods:the whole liver perfusion scans of PHILIPS 64-slice spiral CT in 10 dogs Chinese garden with different doses of contrast agent(0.5,0.8,1.0,2.0 mL/kg) and 5.0ml/s injection rates with double power injector. Respectively, the time to peak splenic and renal cortica enhancement was used to diffierentiatiate the arterial and portal phase on the TDCs from the liver. The Hepatic arterial perfusion (HAP), Hepatic portal perfusion (HPP), Total liver perfusion (TLP) and hepatic arterial perfusion index (HAPI) were calculated by special CT perfusion software. Results:With the dose of 0.8 mL/kg of body weight, scanned image quality of standard dose rate was 100%. The dose of 0.8 mL/kg body weight, with the renal cortica and spleen, respectively, as a reference organ for the number of cases after successful treatment of 8 cases and 6 cases,6 cases of both success. And that the dose to the renal cortica and spleen as a reference organ perfusion post-processing parameters obtained were HAP (29.88±9.94) and (28.25±2.19) mL/min/100mg,HPP (59.55±10.11) and (53.53±10.71) mL/min/100mg,TLP (89.43±26.87) and (81.78±18.56) mL/min/100mg,HPI (0.33±0.06) and (0.30±0.16)。The parameters of the two reference organ there was no significant difference (P> 0.05).Conclusion:the whole liver perfusion scans of PHILIPS 64-slice spiral CT in dog with 0.8 mL/kg dose body weight and 5.0ml/s injection speed to the renal cortica and spleen as a reference organ can get a better post-processing effects.
