Objectives:To explore the protein expression of CDC25A, CDC25B(from the cell division cycle 25-CDC25) and TGF-β1, with regard to their interactions and clinical significance in indicating non-Hodgkin's lymphoma(NHL) staging and subtype, expecting to provide a guide for the diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of NHLMethods:30 pathologically and immunohistochemicaly diagnosed NHL patients were collected at the Third Xiangya Hospital from Jan 2006 to Dec 2010.20 patients from reactive hyperplasia lymph nodes were prepared as the control group. The expression of CDC25A, CDC25B and TGF-β1 was detected by immunohistochemical methods. SPSS 19.0 software and squared test methods were used for statistical analysis of the clinical and pathologic interactions between CDC25A, CDC25B, TGF-β1 in NHL.Results:1. Protein CDC25A, CDC25B and TGF-β1 were all highly expressed in the NHL tissue with statistically significant difference to the control group.2. The expression of CDC25A is independent from age, gender, symptom groups, clinical stage, international work classification and cancer cell origins. CDC25B is also independent from age, gender and cancer cell origins, but highly expressed in patients with group B symptoms, clinical stage III+IV or highly malignant characteristics. Such results is statistically significant. TGF-β1 is only highly expressed in clinical stage III+IV patients and independent from age, gender, symptom groups, international work classification and cancer cell origins.3. The expression of CDC25B and TGF-(31 was highly related, while no significant interactions were observed in other pair groups.Conclusions:1. The expressions of CDC25A, CDC25B and TGF-β1 in the lymphatic tissues of NHL and in the reactive hyperplasia lymph nodes are all significantly different, so the expressions of CDC25A, CDC25B and TGF-β1 are helpful to the diagnosis of NHL and clinically valuable to the differential diagnosis between NHL and reactive lymphoid hyperplasia.2. The expression of CDC25B,TGF-β1 is significantly different in clinical stages. Investigating such expression could indicate the malignant characteristics, which indicats their substantial roles in NHL progression and possible therapeutic and prognostic factors for NHL.3. There is no correlation between CDC25A and CDC25B,TGF-β1. There is positive correlation between the expression of CDC25B and TGF-β1, indicating a cooperative relationship in the progression of NHL...
