ObjectiveTo take a good advantage of Baoshan mung bean resources and find out the raw material of Isoflavone. To study the effect which crude extracts from Baoshan Mung Beach on the peripheral blood cells and bone marrow nucleated cells counts of mice. Comprehensive analysis of the protective effect which the crude extacets from Baoshan Mung Beach on the hematopoietic system of mice after radiation effects.Methods1. Mung bean was a raw material to extracted the effect of crude extracts from Baoshan Mung Bean under the certain conditions. And the use of genistein to determine the content standards.2.64 mice were randomly divided into control group, radiation control group, soy isoflavone group and experimental group. The four groups of mice irritates the stomach two weeks. Then the last three groups accept 4. OGy-ray total body irradiation. To count peripheral blood cells and bone marrow nucleated cells in the third day and tenth day after irradiation.Results1. The rate of Isoflavones is 0.535%, the Purity of isoflavones is 95.6%.2. Mice peripheral blood cell counts and bone marrow cell counts of soy isoflavone group and experimental group are higher than radiation control group, which has significantly different (P<0.05). ConclusionThis study is the first research which Baoshan Mung Bean can be a kind of source which extract isoflavone on the world. Animal experiments also show that The effect of crude extracts from Baoshan Mung Bean has a protective effect, on the hematopoietic system of mice after radiation effects. This protective effect and soy isoflavones anti-radiation effects were not significant difference.
