Objective:To investigate the recovery of bladder function after surgery.and evaluate the probability, we made a contrast between laparoscopic nerve-sparing radical hysterectomy (LNSRH) and laparoscopic radical hysterectomy(LRH). Methods:Between February,2009 and December,2010we carried out prospective non-Randomized control study on 78 postoperative patients with cervical cancer in Xinjiang Tumor Hospital who were divided into LNSRH group(36 cases) and laparoscopic radical hysterectomy(LRH) group(42 cases). All indicators were compared, including operation time, blood loss, and recovery of bladder function after surgery. Results:Of all 78 patients in two groups were performed successfully. There was no significant difference between two groups in terms of blood loss,(P>0.05).There was significant difference in the mean operation time between two groups which was longer in LNSRH (142.6±21.4min) than in LRH (124.2±20.8min),7days after operation,in LNSRH group 30 cases (83.3%) whose PVR were less than 100ml,while in LRH group were3 cases (9.4%). Two groups had significant difference on the post-void residual urine volume(PVR). Conclusion:LNSRH treatment of early cervical cancer is feasible which recent positive therapy can reduce postoperative indwelling catheterization and urinary retention. It has promotion of certain clinical value.
