Tourette Syndrome is a complex chronic neuropsychological disorder. It manifests mainly as a sudden involuntary motor tics and / or vocal tic, and often accompanies with more dynamic, forcing behavior and emotional disorders. In recent years, the incidence rate has been increasing gradually. Significant effect was found in Chinese medicine treatment of children with Tourette Syndrome. Compared with western medicine, Chinese medicine proved to be more advantageous in improving clinical symptoms, shortening the course of diseases, avoiding adverse drug reactions and reducing relapse, etc. However, due to the complexity of the disease pathogenesis, clinical symptoms range of variability, it is inconvenient for us to make judgment of our clinical diagnosis of and prognosis. Therefore, it is of great practical significance to explore Tourette Syndrome with clear TCM syndrome differentiation thinking. In our study, we included the previous literature by induction statistical results and conclusions made by experts with questionnaire in early stage. Meantime, we analyzed our hospital clinic patients with traditional Chinese meridian theory, taking physicians from the previous drug administration and clinical symptoms into consideration. We also made preliminary investigation on the relativity of multiple tic disease and the meridians in children to offer a more specific ideas in clinically diagnose and treatment for the future.
