Research On The Correlation Between The Dominance Of Al Segment Of Anterior Cerebral Artery And The Aneurysms Of Anterior Communicating Artery

Objective:To discuss the correlation between the Al anterior cerebral artery(ACA) dominant signs and Anterior communicating artery aneurysm(AcoA-An).Methods Imaging data were obtained from 211 patients with aneurysm,checked out by DSA,between 2007 and 2009 at the Xiangya Hospital of Central South University. The number of AcoA-An was 74,while non-AcoA-An was 137.The differences of Al anterior cerebral artery dominant signs incidence,Left-side or right-side dominance,the growth direction of Al dominant and Al symmetry,the A2 angle of AcoA-An and non-AcoA-An were detected in order to elucidate the correlation between the Al anterior cerebral artery dominant signs and AcoA-An.Result:LAl anterior cerebral artery dominant signs was observed in 52(70.3%)samples of 74 AcoA-An, while 45(32.9%)cases of 137 non-AcoA-An. Significant difference(x2=27.029,P<0.001) was available and the Pearson correlation (r=0.358,P<0.001)was also discovered.2.Left-side dominance was observed in 41 samples of 52 AcoA-An with Al anterior cerebral artery dominant signs,While 14 cases of 45 non-AcoA-An.Significant difference(χ2=22.390,P<0.001)was found. 3.Half cases of 74 AcoA-An grew Anterior and Superior with Al anterior cerebral artery dominant signs,22.7% grew Anterior and Superior with Al symmetry.Significant difference(P=0.036) was available.4.The average value of A2 angle in 52 AcoA-An was 170.15±3.90°,The average value of A2 angle in 45 non-AcoA-An was 120.64±3.48°.Significant difference(t=65.557, P<0.001)was turned up.Conclusions:1.Bilateral anterior cerebral artery A2 segment angle of AcoA-An with Al anterior cerebral artery dominant signs was larger than those of non-AcoA-An.2.The main growth direction of AcoA-An with Al anterior cerebral artery dominant signs was Anterior Superior.3.The significant correlation between Al anterior cerebral artery dominant signs and AcoA-An was indicated,Left-side dominance was also found.4.Raise the level of alertness on the Al anterior cerebral artery dominant signs checked out by DSA,take photo of 3D-RA and pay attention to the Follow-up visit.
