| [Objective]:. This study was designed to investigate effects of different fluid regimen in esophagectomy on blood concentration of NT-proBNP, thus provide evidence for choices of fluid regimen in esophagectomy.[Methods]:20 patients, age between 18-65-year old, BMI 15-30, ASAâ… -â…¡, scheduled for esophagectomy were included. They were randomly allocated to two group:restrictive fluid therapy group (Group 1, RS 4ml·kg-1·h-1 +6% HES 8ml. kg-1, n=10)-. non-restrictive group (Group 2, RS10ml·kg-1·h-1 +6% HES 8ml. kg-1, n=10). Patients received a fixed 4ml·kg-1·h-1 rate infusion of RS in the PACU and a 50ml·kg-1·24h-1 rate infusion of RS in the SICU. Perioperative changes in plasma concentration of NT-proBNP were measured in two time piont(before induce-T1 24h after the surgery-T2).[Results]:Plasma concentration of NT-proBNP was significantly increased in group 2 compared with that of group 1 (P<0.05).[Conclusions]:A non-restrictive compared to a restrictive fluid regimen may lead to a significant elevation in plasma concentration of NT-proBNP after esophagectomy. |
