Objectives:To explore the clinical application of transcatheter aortic valve implantation. Methods: Transcatheter aorticvalve implantation via the following channels:(1)The retrograde implantation approach of puncture the atrial septum by the venous system;(2) Transapical antegrade aortic valve implantation;(3) Transfemoral retrograde aortic valve implantation;(4)"Valve in valve"implantation. Results : By many operators in this article statistics, there are nearly 630 patients used the Edwards Sapien Valve via the transfemoral route with the procedural success is 75%-96.5%, intraprocedural mortality is below 7.4%,30-d mortality is 6.4%-17%.There are nearly 2200 patients used the CoreValve ReValving System, the procedural success is 84%-98%, intraprocedural mortality is 6.7%-15.2%.There are 280 patients used the he Edwards Sapien Valve via the transapical route, the procedural success is 90%-100% , intraprocedural mortality is 13.6%-22.5%,30-d mortality is 13.6%-17.5%.Conclusion: Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation which is a kind of newly rising technique to cure aortic valve stenosis can use interventional means to heal the valvular heart disease. The elder patients especially with the left heart failure have a great surgical risk, and some patients have the surgical contraindications as well. Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation brings the profit to these patients.
