Objective:The aim of this study is to explore the influence of Gender, time of onset, gestational age, maternal condition during pregnancy, delivery method, multiple birth, birth weight, amniotic fluid, umbilical cord, placenta, asphyxia, Apgar score, family history, feeding history, virus antibody on the clinical staging of NEC(neonate necrotizing enterocolitis, NEC).So that we can make timely processing to reduce mortality and improve prognosis. Methods : We analyzed 170 cases of NEC with SPSS16.0 retrospectively. The data was analyzed with Logistic regression. First we carried out a single factor analysis to select the significant variables, then the variables were analyzed with the Logistic backward stepwise regression. The selected variables were analyzed with multiple Logistic regression at last. The result was considered statistically significant when the P value was below 0.05.Results:Gestational age, birth weight are statistically significant variables of the clinical stage of NEC.Premature birth and low birth weight are risk factors of clinical stageâ…¡,â…¢,particularly in stageâ…¢.Disgussion:NEC is caused by variety of factors.Gestational age and birth weight as known etiology are certainly related with the severity of NEC.Gestational age and birth weight are inversely proportional with the NEC surgical mortality. Therefore,to prevent NEC,we should do a good job of perinatal health care. We should make more research on pathophysiology of NEC and improve laboratory technique to find out high sensitivity and specificity of prediction methods.
