Clinical Study On Chronic Pulmonary Heart Disease Treated With Chuanxiongqin Injection As An Adjuvant Therapy

Objective:1.Evaluate the clinical efficacy of Chuanxiongqin injection treating chronic pulmonary heart disease as an adjunctive therapy, and observe its effects on blood gas analysis,hemorheology,Angiotensinâ…¡,pap pulmonary arterial pressure in such cases.2. Research into whether the activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis could be a new effective adjunctive therapy of chronic pulmonary heart disease.Methods:According to the inclusion criterions,60 chronic cor pulmonale patients from January 20,2009 to December 30,2009 in the department of respiratory medicine of Ningde City Hospital were divided randomly into two gruops,30 caseses were treated group,which were treated with Chuanxiongqin injection and conventional therapy of western medicine.Another 30 cases were controlled group,which were treated with conventional therapy of western medicine only. All patients were given conventional therapy of western medicine such as controlled oxygen therapy, anti infection,spasmolysis,dissipating phlegm and hustenmildernd,rectifying the carbon dioxide retention,hypoxemia,electrolyte imbalance,anti-right heart failure therapy and nutritional support, and the treated group was added Chuanxiongqin injection.The syndrome and objective sign were observed, as well as syndrom types,the blood gas analysis,hemorheology,angiotensinâ…¡and pap pulmonary arterial pressure,which were detected before treating and the 14th day after treating.At last,all datas were analyzed by SPSS13.0 for windows.1.The relieving of syndromes such as coughs expectoration,shortness of breath,oliguria,edema and pulmonary rales were improved significantly in both groups(P<0.05).The treated group was superior to the controlled group in the syndrome type's effects,curative effect and the syndrome such as cough,oliguria,edema and pulmonary rales (P<0.05),but there were not significant differences between the two groups in expectoration,shortness of breath (P>0.05).It indicated that Chuanxiongqin injection could improve the curative effect of chronic cor pulmonale.2. High cut,low cut and blood viscosity droped significantly in treated group(p<0.05).But there was no significant change in the controlled group (P>0.05).The treated group's differences before and after treatment were more notable than the controlled group's(p<0.05).It indicated that Chuanxiongqin injection could improve the indicator of hemorheology of chronic cor pulmonale patients.3.There was no change in both groups' PH (P>0.05).PCO2,PO2 were changed significantly in both two groups compared to before(P<0.05),and there were obvious differences between the two groups after treated (P<0.05).but the treated group's differentials before and after treatment were higher than the controlled group's (p<0.05).It indicated that Chuanxiongqin injection could stimulate to reduce carbon dioxide retention and increase the oxygen content of chronic cor pulmonale patients.4. Angiotensinâ…¡droped significantly in both groups compared to before (P<0.05), and there were obvious differences between the two groups after treated (P<0.05).but the treated group's differentials before and after treatment were higher than the controlled group's(p<0.05). It indicated that Chuanxiongqin injection could reduce the Angiotensin II of chronic cor pulmonale patients.5.The pap pulmonary arterial pressure droped significantly in both groups compared to before (P<0.05), there were obvious differences between the two groups after treated (P<0.05),but the treated group's differentials before and after treatment were higher than the controlled group's (p<0.05). It indicated that Chuanxiongqin injection could reduce the pap pulmonary arterial pressure of chronic cor pulmonale patients.6. There was no serious adverse effects in both groups.1.The therapeutic efficacy of conventional therapy of western medicine cooperated with Chuanxiongqin injection in treating chronic cor pulmonale is superior to conventional therapy of western medicine only.2. The Chuanxiongqin injection can reduce the indicator of hemorheology,carbon dioxide retention,Angiotensinâ…¡,pap pulmonary arterial pressure and increasing the oxygen content.It indicates that the Chuanxiongqin injection is an effective troditional chinese medicine(TCM)in treating chronic cor pulmonale,and it affords a new way to treat chronic cor pulmonale using the methord of combining chinese and western medicine.3.There is no obvious side effects in this clinical trials,so Chuanxiongqin injection can be used for clinical applications.4. The therapy of chronic cor pulmonale with activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis is worth to further research.
