Objective: To evaluate the effect and correlative factors of intravenous Ibuprofen for treatment on patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) in very preterms (VP) less than 32 weeks of gestational age. Methods: Retrospective study among 87 intravenous Ibuprofen treated VPs who divided into"success"and"failure"groups. Compare them with the birth gestational age, birth weight, clinical risk index for babies (CRIB), complications and ultrasound cardiogram outcomes before the treatment, date of treatment, course and other therapy.Results:(1) The success ratios after 1st course, 1-2 dose supplement and 2nd course are respectively 42.52%(37/87), 68.97%(10/87) and 75.86%(66/87).(2) throughχ2-test, Birth gestational age, birth weight, CRIB>5, neonatal respiratory distress syndrome(NRDS), renal insufficiency, ultrasonography ductus diameter/weight, left atrial /aortic root (LA/Ao), date of first dose are different between the groups (p<0.05). (3) But binary logistic regression find only birth weight (OR=0.921), CRIB (OR=1.301E3) and NRDS (OR=81.754) are the correlative factors. The equation was (Effect of intravenous Ibuprofen on VPs'PDA) =17.069-0.082X1+7.171X2+4.404X3(χ2=78.260, p<0.001)。Conclusions:(1) In VPs , there is a hight success ratios of intravenous Ibuprofen treatment on PDA.(2) Birth gestational age, birth weight, CRIB, NRDS, renal insufficiency, ultrasonography ductus diameter/weight, LA/Ao, date of first dose can affect the treatment effect of intravenous Ibuprofen on PDA in VPs.(3) Low weight and NRDS after birth could significantly decrease the effect of intravenous Ibuprofen on PDA medical treatment。...
