Under the background of postmodern society, the traditional Chinese realistic figure painti ng, as the earliest independent branch of Chinese paintings, has lost the Chinese local style and t he unique charm of image of the Chinese traditional painting due to the influence of western pai nting and social environment. Generally speaking, the pursuit of "artistic conception" is not ade quate; instead, it over focuses on factors such as skills and models.Besides, in the consumption s ociety featured by marketization, commercialization and entertainment, many realistic figure pai nters reveal fickleness and disorders. Due to the lack of cultivation, the traditional Chinese realis tic figure painting is faced with adverse conditions during the development and exploration proc ess. As a consequence, it has become an urgent task of an age for the realistic figure painters to e xplore and search the modern and brand new view released by the figure paintings on the sense of beauty appreciation, manifestation and spiritual characters; think and seek the innovative brea k through of the painters on traditions succession, esthetic judgments, painting skills, character a nd morals, etc. with the developmental viewpoint, comprehensive concept and brand new visual threshold.
