On The Kierkgaard's Exist Aesthetics

The life of Kierkegaard was unforture.Miserable life of his family and physical disability of himself lead to him who was introverted and sensitive. He deeply feeled that people was under the control of society and morality. Therefore,kierkegaard put painful sensation such as emptiness, loneliness,fear,desperation into category of aesthetic existence.And he thought this sensation is indispensable.The object of fear is nothing.People is not defined as spiritually in the fear,and people haven't freedom and ego. The possiblilty can lead people to overcoming fear,because it lead people to choosing faith.As a reasult,people get rid of fear.Kierkegaard defined ego as a relationship that associate self with self.Ego is a relationship between flesh and internal self.Desperation is the error relationship that ego don't defined exactly by God. In other words,ego haven't exact relationship with God.Kierkegaard divide desperation into infinite desperation,finite desperation,possible desperation,necessary desperation,unconcious desperation,don't want desperatly to have self,want desperatly to have self.On this basis,he divide existent stage into aesthetic stage ,ethic stage and religious stage. Aesthetic stage is a existent way that chase pleasure of sense and directness.Such as,Don Giovanni who chase sensnal directness,Faust who chase spiritual directness.Both of them chase directness.They get out of ego ,dare not face up to ego,so they fall into desperation ,and they paralysis self in the endless pursuit.People who is in ethic stage choose responsisbility as his life,live under pressure from which mortliaty and social order .Although they have choice,they don't choose God.So,they still haven't ego.Religious stage is divided into general religious stage and absurd religious stage.People who live in the general religious stage such as Abrahan abandon everthing and absoultely believe in God.But they haven't exact conciousness of sin.People who live in the absurd religious stage realiezed they are in the ridiculous.They choose"absurd God"with the help of the moment.Therefore,they have transparent rlationship with God and find ego.Kierkegaard emphasized the important position of faith,absurdity,the moment in the religion.Because he want to criticize rational science and Hegelianism,call for putting down the burden and easy living.People who live in the religious stage subject to the God .Under the circumstance,people is free and happy foreve.This three stage aren't ordinal progress.Aesthetic stage can jump directly into religious stage.Completion of this leap need the help of faith.Religious stage is the highest exist stage. Kierkegaard's exist aesthetics is different from Foucal's aesthetic existence. Kierkegaard emphasized internal ego,and this ego don't need external material assistance;It exclude rational language ;It criticized secular Christianity,hope to restore Christianity . Kierkegaard put emptiness,fear,desperation into category of aesthetic existence.It has great value in developing of studying aesthetic existence and exist condition of modern human.But his theory have obvious contradictions,such as he regard submiting to God as backing to the essence of human.
