This study had two major goals:to test three hypotheses concering the nature of individual difference tapped by working memory span tasks and Proeessing Speed, and to find out the influencing faetors of verbal fluency.We used 11 tasks to test 185 seniors of different major in northwest university.The results show that:(1) There are signifieant differences among thestudents From different subjects in visuos Patial working memorys Pan tests:The scores of boys in visuos Patial working memorys Pan tests is significantly higher than that of girls, and there are no significant differences among the students from different Places in working memorys Pan test,processing speed and verbal fluency.(2) The working memory and processing speed can Prediet verbal fluency,but the stations are different.The forecast of attention,working memory to verbal fluency is higher than processing speed to verbal fluency.(3) The working memory and processing speed are significantly correlated.
