In the wake of the progress of science and technology, the means of subsistence and production have been enriched greatly. Nevertheless, industrialization process has plundered natural resources, and polluted enviroment. The human has suffered ecological crisis. Therefore people are considering what influence that human behavior can affect the environment.Non-anthropocentrism is born in the environmental crisis. The paper analyzes this ethical thought, and finds out plights of non-anthropocentrism both in theory and reality. There are a number of insufficiencies in the theory of Non-anthropocentrism, such as absence of subject, value and morality. In addition, Non-anthropocentrism is conflictive with social development, as well as constructing harmonious society. The paper strives to study the plights, in order to seek a way for the plights of non-anthropocentrism. So we need to dialectically reconsider the relationship between men and nature, uphold the human's subject status. Meanwhile it is necessary to establish a human-oriented value system, and take the road to sustainable development. The research on the plights of non-anthropocentrism intends to find a thinking mode which is related to reality in environmental philosophy, as well as to find a solution. The paper holds that we must regard Marxism as guidelines, and dialectically reconsider the relationship between men and nature. Only in this way we can solve the trouble.
