As the first literary periodical in new china, People's Literature starts from 1949. Since then literary periodicals become more and more successively. Such as, Acquisition starts from 1957, October starts from 1978, and The contemporary era starts from 1979. They are all large-scale and viable literary periodical. Then, literary periodicals have attracted the attention of the literary researchers, especially when the socialist market economic system has been established at the 1990s and the circulation of literary periodicals had rise and fall.For literary periodicals before 1949, Liu Zengren has had a systemic discourse through a book named Historical work on Modern Chinese literary periodical, but there are no systemic discourse for literary periodicals after 1949, Since 1978, there are some researches on literary periodical works, periodical reform and difficulties of periodical, but there seldom have comprehensive discourse on the great changes of literary periodical when it undergo market economy. Since new century, along with the farther revision of literary periodicals, the launch of new periodicals, and the appearance of mature Media channels, periodical literary work research and marketing research both are synchronized.This paper is based on correcting status of literary periodicals and the Market change's Influence on Literature,based on literary field generative theory and masscult consumption theory, use compared and statistical methods to make a lengthways comparison for the development of literary periodicals at the different period and to make a lateral comparison at same period. Besides, she also use text-reading method to understand and grasp the trend on Manuscript selection and the direction of literary periodicals through bygone works and the latest works reading. At the same time, this paper combines with modern society background, analysis the development situation of Chinese literary periodicals from new period and on that basis, made a deep study of the Market's Influence on Literature, and to grasp the potential trend of Chinese literature. At last, though demonstration of Market's Influence on Literature, this paper demonstrates the social meaning and value of contemporary of literary periodicals, it is very important that literature should adapt to markets and maintain literature ecological diversity and" the principle of autonomy for literature" Finally, to realize the Positive communication between literary periodicals and chinese literature Development.This paper mainly study on literature survival condition at the market economy period embarks from traditional literature periodical studies in China. On one hand, since the 1990s, China has entered the market economy time, intellectual's ideal construction initiative or passivity deconstruct. Many writers "plunge into the business" in succession and others become flippancy; literature also loses the dazzling ray gradually and goes into seclusion from the central stage. the money,the authority and other marketability's product come out. On the other hand, structural reform in the cultural field was deepened, the literature underwent the baptism similarly as the cultural important component, the national financial support has reduced, "ablactation" action as well as the mass media rapidly expand, caused the literature periodical to suffer the significant impact and then the literature periodical loses the dazzling ray.In such social background and the realistic situation, the overwhelming majority literature periodicals have been compelled to correct edition and come to a crisis. The edition correction has two kinds of patterns approximately:One kind was given up literariness to cater to the populace interest; another kind was still insisting the literature goal, ideal and pursue. But the fact proved that these two kinds of patterns have no obvious success. Thus, seemingly, "the traditional literature already declined" has become the fact; the literature periodical is facing the unprecedented survival test in the computerization and networking time.On the market times, the literature periodical can or cannot regroup after a defeat and make a difference? Literature is or not really unable to get rid of so-called "the marginalization"? Where is the location of literature actually? Where is the future of literature? This paper attempts think, and to explore the realistic root produced these problems.
