In the thesis, we try to find the function that ErYa vocabulary to large-scale The Great Dictionary of Chinese revise.The Great Dictionary of Chinese contains about 1531 vocabularis of Er Ya for total. Most of the entries received interpretation is reasonable, but there are still a number of interpretation errors and mysql server errors.This thesis will select some words to supplement The Great Dictionary of Chinese, The statistics are as follows: Interpretation, there are 27 words need to complement, they are words lost in 10 cases, 12 cases of senses missing, interpretation mistakes in 4 cases; Documentary evidence, to early documentary evidence of 28 cases; Add 17 documentary evidences,and revise 6 documentary evidences.The article is divided into three chapters altogether. The preface to introduce the main content and editions of this book and analysis the selected title causes, writing value and method. Chapter two expounds the function that ErYa lexical to The Great Dictionary of Chinese in explanation from three respects, containing the establishment of the word head, supplementing the words and revise the explanation.
