A Study On The Calligraphy Thoughts Of Bao Shichen

Since the last 1930s, fruitful results have been yielded on the Calligraphy Thoughts of Bao ShiChen. However, there still exist space and academic significance to be researched. Having carded the research results, I summarize and discuss the Calligraphy Thoughts of Bao ShiChen based on Essays on Poetics and Calligraphic Arts:Firstly, objectively investigate his life, a circle of acquaintances and Calligraphic Arts of Bao ShiChen, in addition to exploring and analysing the spread of different versions and the appearance of Essays on Poetics and Calligraphic Arts. Secondly, analyse the Calligraphy Thoughts of Bao ShiChen from techniques, ink style, style of calligraphy, and the "Tablet" and "Tie" attitude taken by Bao in order to expurgate the essence of the Calligraphy Thoughts of Bao,together in this part of the discussion in the book, briefly involve in the thoughts "civilian consciousness" and so on. Thirdly, Compartmentalize the Calligraphy Thoughts of Bao into four parts:laying period, the initial formation stage, summing up period and the period of establishment and other exposition stage to sketch the basic profile of the progressive forming stage of the Calligraphy Thoughts of Bao.
