Metaphor was traditionally regarded as a rhetoric device of languages. As the cognitive linguistics came into being, metaphor was studied from the thinking perspective. So metaphor becomes a way of thinking we live by in our daily life, and it was called conceptual metaphor. Conceptual metaphor is not only pervasive in the humans'languages, but also ubiquitous in our thinking and actions. Conceptual metaphor makes the abstract concepts become concrete and materialized. On the other hand, Emotion is the perception experience of the outside world, and an abstract feeling. Therefore, people need some methods to express the elusive, abstract emotions. As a result, metaphor became a bridge to express our emotions. Meanwhile, the metaphor expressing human's emotions also became emotional metaphors. As we all know, poems and Ci-poems were the main ways of poets expressing their ideas and feelings historically. After the Tang Poems, Song Ci-pomes were another miracle in the Chinese literature. Wanyue School and Haofang School were the representatives of the Song Ci-poets, but as the expressions of human's subtle feelings, the Ci-poems of Wanyao School come first. Li Qingzhao is the pioneer and founder of Wanyao School, and her poems and Ci-poems were studied from different perspectives by people, but few studies were on the emotions from the conceptual metaphor view in her works. In this dissertation, in order to enhance the study on the emotional metaphors in Li Qingzhao's poems and Ci-poems, the author uses the Prototype Theory and the Conceptual Metaphors Theory to study the methods of expressing the poetess'rich emotions. The study indicates that the emotional metaphors were used to express the poetess's emotions implicitly and euphemistically, and she put her emotions on her familiar objects or entities, orientations and structures of the objects. In other words, these emotional metaphors are based on the bodily experiences. Meanwhile, it also has a positive effect on the study of Li Qingzhao'poems and Ci-poems.
