On The Road Forever

There is a buffer strip, named travel, between the departure and arrival; and such buffer strip always exists in different kinds of vehicles. In such a special space-time, a traveler might have colorful experiences at times, which have become a new topic of Chinese travel proses since 1990s. In this thesis, we will have an investigation of the travel proses after 1990s, using text analyzing as the method, and concentrating on both the experience of travel and its literary sense.The thesis consists of three chapters, respectively analyzing three kinds of traffic: by bus, by air, and by train.Chapter One discusses the travels by bus, which is the most traditional way of travel. Such vehicle will both inspire the traveler to image, and increase the value of arrival. In my opinion, the scenery outside the windows of a bus is the most beautiful one, and the travelers will enjoy a very meaningful experience of esthetic. Furthermore, a traveler might meet other travelers more frequently than other ways of travel.Chapter Two is about the travels by air. The most attractive part of such kind of travel is the moment of falling off, because you can see the wonderful landscape from sky. However, you may also feel disappointed for the amazing speed of plane, which arrests you from enjoying the happiness of a long-time journey.Chapter Three concentrates on the travels by train, which is such a special vehicle that you could find elements of both classic and modern from it. The train often provides a much larger space for the travelers, so that they can feel and think more deeply. The passengers might have an interactive action with each other and share their subtle feelings. In addition, the power of train and railway, as my view, is a symbol of the expansion of modernization.At last, I will give a general conclusion about both the positive and passive aspects of modern travels, and try to lay out the identity of different kinds proses about different vehicles. According to my view, the most important thing of travel is to enjoy the scenery, and the only way to get it is to have a much slower travel. Furthermore, such way will also help us to enjoy a much better modern life.
