Oscar·Wilde (1854--1900) is the most famous and controversial writer of the 19th century in British. He is the advocate of aestheticism movement. His writing involving novel, fairy tale, drama, poetry, etc. Oscar-Wilde's novels were criticized immoral from the moment it came, and The critics's study is also more focused on analyzeing the aestheticism of the works. So it is a new perspective to analyze the novel by applying ethics literary criticism.This paper analyze Wilde's ethics, wilde in novels, the ethical problems in the novel caused by the ethics, the ethical choice under the influence of the ethics, and then discusses the ethical chaos and the ethics save attempt Wilde tried. This paper expounds from three parts.The introduction part is tointroduce life and works of wilde. Through analyzing and summarizing the research situation at home and abroad, I established the significance of this topic, and points out the research about wilde's novel is very limited, this paper from the view of the ethics of literature wilde's novel, It will be an entirely new perspective, has certain pioneering and challenging, thus has good practical significance.The first part:analysis of ethics and wilde art creation. Oscar·Wilde ethics formation from his life and his ethical environment ethics is very contradictory, is mainly shown in two aspects:one is the social identitycrisis; two is emotional consciousness of chaos. And it is this complicated ethical attitudes affected his artistic creation.The second part:research the ethical performance in the novel, the ethical issues and under the influence of the ethical choice to make.The third part research the wrong ethical choice the character made and the ethics chaos after the wrong choice. Discuss the ethical rescue for the increasingly vicious life.Conclusion summarize ethical significance of Wilde's works. Oscar Wilde was a humanists in the late 19th century, facing the losing of the morals manners and social reality, he showed the ideal that remake and reform the world. Through his works he wanted to tell us, when you are in the social transformation period, you must insist on your ethical choice. Ethical choice of errors will cause ethical chaos, the original ethical order is broken, people will be falling into the tragedy. His creation goal is for human avoid tragic,and the way is love. Through the ability to restore love, rebuild social ethical order.
