The beginning of 1990, our country has entered a new development stage of the consumer society. The traditional values and aesthetics of people have been savagely attacked by consumer culture, "the hot topic of Hai Zi" is the context of consumer culture in a unique literary one example. Hai Zi is a nature-writing poet, he just wants to bo "a brief lover of matter ", ordinarily this both nonexistent what is specific relation between his spirit of the poetry on the idea of cultural consumption, but he is considered to be "myth" in this era of a high degree of material. The contradiction by this phenomenon about poet and the context of our times is very perspicuous, it is worthy of further study.This article attempts to "the hot topic of Hai Zi" as the research object, put it in the era of consumer culture context of the large under the link by analyzing them, we can re-examine the value contained in Hai Zi, also we can find some way whick is helpful to the possibility of development of poetry.This paper can be judged by the following sections to start:Introduction, introduced the basis of referential review of domestic and foreign bibliography, which is about Consumer culture and Hai Zi, and showing that the meaning of this research.The first two chapters are introduced and Haizi consumer culture.
