Throughout the history of two hundred years of studying on Keats, experiencing all kinds of methods of literature critics, such as social historical criticism, new criticism, structuralism, deconstructionist, cultural criticism, new criticism, feminism and other critical theories, all sides of his poetry have been receiving attention, however, systematic study is little from religious view on his poetry and poetic. This dissertation attempts to explore Keats's poetry and poetics scattering in his letters from religious view and analyzes how religious has impact on his poetry and poetics. The dissertation tries to find the reasons why Keats' poetry has been constantly receiving attention from scholars and readers. The dissertation is divided into introduction, body and conclusion. The introduction briefly reviews the domestic study status and achievements and finally presents the view of the dissertation. Christian also has great influence on Keats while he was addicted to pagan spirit. It is for this reason that make Keats turned to Shakespeare and finds his own expressions, eventually boarding the peak of the Kingdom of poetry. The body consists of three parts. The first part tracks down Keats' growing and writing experience and analyzes his multi-religious view. He is not fragile Adonais but a Shakespearean poet. The second part surveys his developing process of religious view from his letters and writing times, and clarifies his religious views and life belief. The third part discusses the relationship between his poetry and his religious views. And his writing experience has been divided into two parts from 1818. Keats before 1818 was attracted by ancient Greece and sought after free will and divine beauty as well as harmony between human being and nature. After 1819, pursuing non-persona style of Shakespeare, Keats was beyond impact of Milton and Wordsworth. His poems were full of Christian salvation. The forth part focus on the development of Keats' "two room" and "negative capability" as well as "no character". The dissertation reveals his core views on religion. Christian redeemed spirit exists in harmony with the spirit of Greek pantheism in his poems. Keats' poetics implies the ideas of Chinese Taoism. His pluralistic views on religion develop his profound humanistic care and make his poems abundant tone and enduring charm in history.
