Social Thought In Yantielun

Social thought is about the concept and theory of a kind of social order of establishment, management and the ideal society mode, which is produced in people's production and life. In Chinese history, different schools of different periods proposed their own claims about constructing an ideal society. These claims years old away are important to construct the harmonious society today in theory.Yantielun was sorted and written by Han Confucian scholars Huan Kuan according to salt and iron meeting record, which mainly reflects the contents about politics, economy, culture, military and diplomatic aspects of dynasty Hanwu emperor. The meeting was held in February, 81BC in dynasty Hanzhao emperor Liu Fuling. There were more than 60 people attending this conference and they were mainly divided into two groups, one party was Wises and Good Literatures such as Lu Wansheng and Tang Sheng, whose top leaders was Prime Minister Che qiangqiu; the other party was government officials such as the representative Sang Hongyang. Both sides at the meeting launched a fierce debate. In the debates, there appeared a lot of social thoughts. The study for these social thoughts can help us understand the political, economic, social aspects measures of the Period profoundly and so on. Of course, it can also give us references to construct harmonious society today a little.This thesis consists of five parts. Part one: introduction. Mainly introduces Yantielun research situations and this research's purpose, significance and contents. Part two: the view of society in Yantielun. It will depict an ideal social pattern through the debate between Wises and Post Doctor at the meeting. It also tells the harmonious unity of Punishment and Morality .Part 3: the view of Nation's wealth in Yantielun. Firstly it introduces the sources of the national's wealth, and it then analyzes the ways how to deal with the real contradiction of the state and"Min". Part four: the view of necessary moralities of Emperors and Secretaries in Yantielun. The favorable moralities of emperors and secretaries affect or even decide the fate of the country, so the moralities of emperors and secretaries , the favorable relationships between emperors and secretaries in the ideal society should be paid much attention. Part five: Comments. Summarize and comment the main ideas of the article.
