Qualitative Study On College Students' Development Process Of Love Conflict

Love conflict represents the disharmony relationship among college students, which will have influence on the satisfaction of both sides about relationships and change the lovers' evaluation mechanism and love views. Therefore, the research on the love conflict can help the college students to solve the psychological problems caused by love conflict.Two people established different kinds of love affairs according to the objective conditions, such as character and temperament, behavior and habits growing environment, values and so on. The differences become notable in the love conflict, because something unbearable would come out during the interactions of the lovers, while the love conflict is the direct way of showing it. Among the interactions, the type of attachment influent the development of love conflict deeply. To find the occurrence, the development and the reasons of the love conflict has active clinical value. The researchers at home have made many results in the occurrence, the development and the reasons of the love conflict, but the study on the course of the conflict is little. This research focuses on the development of both sides in love in the course of the conflict. We will look for 8 pairs as the respondents by using the method of, with the collection of materials from deep interview, and the usage of the software QSR NVivo7.0, to find out the cognition and changes of moods behind the conflict, generalize the development of the college students'love conflict and try to explain the inner cognition mechanism of different types of conflict from attachment theory.The results indicate that,1,According to the reaction and the behavior of the lovers'conflict, the development of the love conflict of college students can be divided into three types:interactive conflict, one-way conflict, potential conflict.2,The interaction of the attachment in different conflict:(1)The interaction of the attachment in interactive conflict presents contempt attachment type and preoccupied attachment type. (2) The interaction of the attachment in interactive conflict presents different styles. One of the lovers is of given tendency, including secure attachment type and preoccupied attachment type (given orientation). The other one major in preoccupied attachment type (request tendency).(3) At least one in potential conflict depresses inner conflict, which always be insecure attachment type.3,It is helpful to abate or solve the love conflicts of the both sides in love by expression and analysis about feelings in the conflict.
