Internet Folk Pieces widely exist. Using the qualitative method, this paper analyzes Internet Folk Pieces and its pragmatic strategies from a pragmatic perspective.Based on the definition of Folk Pieces and Internet Folk Pieces, this paper selects out two major functions of Internet Folk Pieces:satirizing and entertaining, and their major effects:satire and humor. The paper also categorizes the Internet Folk Pieces by its effects.The paper points out that the strategies of Internet Folk Pieces are closely related to its social function:since the author has to think twice sometimes when satirizing, there must be indirect methods one of whose effects is humor. The paper focuses on pragmatic strategies for satire and humor of Internet Folk Pieces. The research shows that there is indirect reference when satirizing; the major strategies of core behavior for satirizing are negatively judge strategy, declare and describe strategy, echoic mention strategy, imitation strategy, irony strategy, contrast strategy, pun strategy and hyperbole strategy.Meanwhile, based on the incongruity theory, the strategies for humor effects fall into four aspects, which are the incongruity of language form, the incongruity of language meaning, the incongruity of common sense and the incongruity of social culture. The research shows that the strategy on language form is mainly rhetoric; the strategies on language meaning are mainly indirect speaking, deviation, deliberate misinterpretation and ambiguity; the strategy on common sense is mainly the ignorance and willful violation of common sense; the strategy on social cultural is mainly the violation of politeness rules and moral standards.
