The late 19th century's Jameson Raid was the direct reason of Anglo-Boer War. There were many reasons that gave rise to Jameson Raid. This text will proceed from the times of international background, which analyze synthetically the Raid. The mastermind behind Jameson Raid was British Colonist Cecil Rhodes in late 19th century, who grabbed Bechuanaland, opened up access to north, obtained the Charter, established British South Africa Company, and formed Rhodesia by invading Mashonaland and Matabeleland, which it was a crucial role for his "two C" plan. Rhodes, however he also faced a huge problem:the Kruger ruled Transvaal Republic was becoming a stumbling block to his north, therefore the plan of conspiring to overthrow Kruger's "Jameson Raid" put on the agenda.How to spy out its historical value from a attack, which is trying to achieve the purpose of this value. From Jameson Raid's plan and the result, are all revealed to the reader an important message:Jameson Raid was the direct result of European colonization interest's conflict.This article does not intend to get to the bottom of colonialism, however, the case study of colonialism for the macro level have additional value. Jameson Raid especially for Anglo-Boer War has a direct role in promoting the war. The Anglo-Boer War is called "imperialist war", thus, we can analysis the Jameson Raid comprehensively, and, understand the period of European imperialism and colonial policy changes and impact.Evaluation of Jameson Raid is also related to the ability to correctly understand the nature of the incident. From point of view, the nature of conflict is colony's conflict, so for Africans, both sides are colonialism. Nevertheless, Jameson Raid indirectly promoted a shift of the boosters in southern Africa from a historical process.
