Wulantuoga is widely known in the field of music composing in the new period in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The theme of his work covers a wide range, especially the composing on the national vocal music which presents his outstanding artistic value. Many of his works vocal, such as Father's Prairie and Mother's River and Hulunbuir Prairie, are widely spread and favored by many people. His efficient and productive composing on the Mongolian songs provide more choices for the local vocalist. Wulantuoga's work greatly contributes to the improvement of vocal artistic in Inner Mongolia. According to the brief introduction about Wulantuoga's artistic achievements the thesis and try to do further research on his representative works Father's Prairie and Mother s River and Hulunbuir Prairie by tracing the painstaking journey in music composing. His vocal works provide the technique support for the singers'high level performance. Based on this find, the author moves forward to explore the artistic effect of Wulantuoga's vocal works by using the technique of western bel canto and the possibility of blending the Mongolian songs and western bel canto into a unity. With the melting of the Mongolian songs and western bel canto, the potential of ethnic vocal music will be fully tapped and the western singing will be well applied in national vocal music in China.
