Meanwhile, the research of music emotional intelligence plays an important role in training the emotional capacity in music appreciation and the promotion emotional development. However, research in this regard at home and abroad are very few. Therefore, the research construct the structure of music emotional intelligence theory. It explores whether people have the ability to process the emotional information in music (that's music Emotional Intelligence), and to determine the various components of music Emotional Intelligence structure, and the empirical research. Concrete research result as follows:Firstly, music theory of emotional intelligence structure is defined as the emotional information processing capacity, including two dimensions of operation and content.Secondly, music structure based on the content and operation of music emotional intelligence, Xining normal university of students as subjects, through the exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis to verify the theoretical concept of emotional intelligence structure of the music to determine the musical structure of emotional intelligence into six dimensions:the ability to perceive positive emotion in music, the ability to perceive negative emotion in music, the ability to express positive emotion in music,the ability to express negative emotion in music, the ability to use positive emotion in music, the ability to use negative emotion in music.Thirdly, through organizing and testing the music emotional Intelligence Questionnaire, we obtained the good reliability and validity in "music Emotional Intelligence Scale", in line with psychometric requirements.Finally, we use the music questionnaire to investigate the students of Xinyang Normal University, through statistical analysis of the data obtained music students the characteristics of emotional intelligence:the university student's total intelligence level of the music motion is partial to up; Women's level of emotional intelligence is significantly higher than boys, particularly in the negative perception of musical emotion, the expression of positive emotion music, express negative music emotions, the ability to use negative emotions on the music; History class students in music perception and expression of negative emotions were significantly higher than science and engineering students; In the perception and the ability to use negative emotions on the music, there are grades. Freshman and senior music students perceive negative emotions were significantly higher than juniors; freshman music students use negative emotions was significantly higher than sophomore and senior students.
