| It's been thirty years since government reformation and the opening-up of China. Since then choral singing gained vigorous development, and there are more and more choirs establishing. People like the choral arts but only know the surface at the same time, which results in the level of choral arts not having high attendance and a shortage of choral directors overall in the country. It is also a deep reflection of the poor primary choral education in China. This paper, through analyzing the choral education mode, related curriculum setting, and course content in colleges, states the present situation and development of choral art in China. College choral education should take the lead role in order to promote some fresh blood to the development of choir.
