As the leader of the movement of the poetry innovation, Ouyang Xiu in literary theory put forward many views,and he practices his claims in the literary creation. This thesis, on the basis of existing research results, more systematically investigate Ouyang Xiu's literary views and his poetry creation, which aims at revealing the relationship between the theory and the creation of literary.Based on the analysis of Ouyang Xiu's literary theory, the discovery of the classification method, as this unit, This thesis discusses the reflection of the theory in poetry. Under this thinking,the text is divided into four chapter.The first chapter is divided into two sections. Section I mainly discusses from the perspective of literary style. It discusses around three problems, namely amiable, plain, against Shallow philistine and concise. Putting these ideas together, we can see that the pursuit of plain simple is not shallow philistine,and strange but conditions in the training to achieve a return to pure state.The second section study the theory in practice with his poetry through the analysis of poetic language, imagery, structure, arrangement, allusions, and the effect of expression.We can see Ouyang Xiu'poetry Language avoided odd characters, strange language, manifesting a plain comfortable, easily understood; images'using easily and clearly; structure along the natural stability, but no lack of ingenuity Smart. Ouyang Xiu avoided uncommon allusions , while the use of allusion without a trace, Artistic Meaningful, charm endless.The second chapter.In the first section,the thesis discusses the widely origin of art, and points out Ouyang Xiu respected SuShunQin, ShiYanNian, DuYan, MeiYaoChen, WangYuCheng, Han Yu, Meng Jiao, Jiang Lin Ji, YangYi, QianWeiYan, Li Bai,Du Fu, WenTing Yun,YanWei, etc, and he put forward forming one's own style through studying others. Ouyang Xiu'poetry is studied in the second section. With more highly consistent, part of his poetry has clearly shown traces of imitation, and some in the same chapter presents several different characteristics. He claims to form his own style, and his poet showed no exercise but distant mood,and strong poetic features.The third chapter. the first section is around Ouyang Xiu's "Dao", Ouyang Xiu put "Dao" in a high location ,and he did not neglect "literature".He make "BaiShi" as the theoretical connotation of "Dao". Under analysis of the unique connotation of "Dao",the thesis point out that Ouyang Xiu emphasizes poetry contents and the usefulnesss of poetry. He denounced Buddhism and Taoism, didn't believe destiny about ghosts and criticized absurd talk about the heart and mind. basing on the argument Ouyang Xiu proposed the text of its enduring literary value. The second section analysis Ouyang Xiu's poem. His poems have a wide range of topic and show a "Writing Poems," "Poems with Comments" feature. the poetry theme is masatada, and have a very strong sense of time consciousness and hermit. To some extent, these features are the results of the view in the practice of poetry writing.The fourth chapter. Section 1 discusses the theory of "neatness under hard circumstance "of Ouyang Xiu.It emphasized that the internal feelings of poets should be expressed under hard circumstance of outside world. Ouyang Xiu maintained that the feelings must be rich,sincere ,warm, painstaking.He opposed poets expressed their discontent and indignation excessively. The second section analysis the refelects of the theory of "neatness under hard circumstance "in his poems.Ouyang Xiu practiced his theory in poetry.He expressed his discontent and complaint by depicting mountains , water, and chanting things. Meantime,he didn't forget the country and the people.Most of his poetry were moderate ,optimistic .And the words were pithy.
