Research On The Period Characteristics Of Oil Painting In Xinjiang

This article mainly utilizes the methods of vertically tracing origins and horizontally concrete analysis, to summarize the basic development and conditions of oil painting in different periods of the twentieth-century history of Xinjiang oil painting. While investigating the development of Xinjiang oil painting, it also analyzes the period-specific characteristics of Xinjiang oil painting in different historical circumstances, this has important artistic value and practical significance for modern Xinjiang oil painting.Xinjiang oil painting from the beginning today has only half a century of history, its inception was influenced by both internal and external factors. My research considers this development over four periods, namely, after Liberation, the Cultural Revolution period, the transitional period, and the Reform and Opening Period. This paper will basically discuss this from four aspects: 1. Discussion of Xinjiang oil painting's developmental history and representative works of different historical periods. 2. Main factors influence the different characteristics of Xinjiang's oil painting periods. 3. Looking from the standpoint of historical development at the substance and pragmatic significance of the transition of period characteristics of Xinjiang oil painting. 4. Describing the oil painting phenomena produced in every historical era, representative works, and thematic features.
